Come Together: Art and Politics in a Climate of Unrest
Michael Sandford and I had an installation at Tate Modern for Tate exchange that asked participants to make a decision that changed the hue of a light and thereby the composition of the whole installation. This made clear the ramifications of their choice. It also inherently made clear the effects of an non-choice. Each instance resulted in a small change, and throughout the course of the exhibition the changes accumulated. After making a choice, I took portraits of the participants with their voting sticker.
